This time the product that we review is K10D, which Pentax uses the given slogan for ads.
With this new and most developed product from Pentax K series, brings new dimensions to digital imaging with some unique features.
Recently most producers try to keep continuous development; Pentax K10D takes a step forward with significant changes.
Pentax had started a new and different development process, instead of producing similar products, which are on the market now. Pentax has been the pioneer that Pentax uses 22-bit analog-to-digital converter.
K10D is equipped with richer color-filtering ability due to this 22-bit converter. With a firmware the camera may produce 16-bit RAW files. That will be a milestone for digital photography! It produces balanced and natural colored high quality photos as it powered by recently developed PRIME (Pentax Real Image Engine) and the 22-bit converter.
