Karagöz ile Hacivat; taklide ve karşılıklı konuşmaya dayanan, iki boyutlu tasvirlerle bir perdede oynatılan gölge oyunudur. Bu oyunun oynatıcısına kurgusal, hayalbaz veya hayali denmektedir. Bu iki karakterin gerçekten yaşayıp yaşamadığı, yaşadıysa nerede nasıl yaşadığı kesin olarak bilinmemektedir.
Türk gölge tiyatrosu olarak bilinen Karagöz-Hacivat oyunları sırasıyla; mukaddime (giriş), muhavere (atışma), fasıl (oyun) ve bitiş olmak üzere dört bölümden oluşmaktadır.
Dün gece Ramazan eğlence programı vardı, bende perde arkasına geçip hayalbaz ile beraber çekeyim dedim.
